One thing SBK could do better
The niche sports. SBK’s listing runs from football to politics and the big three American leagues, but table tennis, darts and snooker don’t get a mention, and those are exactly the markets where a sharp-priced book could make its name with the rest of us. Markets and odds: football first, with the exchange behind the prices
Football is the main course at SBK: the app’s listing leads with it, ahead of racing, and the odds on both come through Smarkets. On top of the main markets, the Bet Builder lets you stitch together selections from the same game, and Cash Out lets you take a price on a live bet before the final whistle. Fresh Legs is the one I’d single out for football punters: if your player is substituted, the bet carries forward rather than dying on the bench.

In-play betting runs with live odds, and Cash Out is there for live bets. The streaming is better than you’d expect from a newer name: UK, Irish and French horse racing, plus selected tennis and football matches, all inside the app.

SBK’s app listing confirms payments through Trustly, the open-banking service that moves money straight from your bank account.
