easyBet is one of those betting sites that doesn’t look like a bookmaker, because it isn’t one, not in the usual sense. There’s no wall of fractional odds. Instead you get a question, “Will Harry Kane score and Bayern Munich score 3+ goals against Freiburg?”, a percentage, and two buttons: Yes or No. It’s part of the easy family of brands, it runs on the licence of Triplebet Limited, the company behind the Matchbook exchange, and underneath the Predictions there’s a full betting exchange with Back, Lay, Trade and Cash Out. I’ll admit I opened it expecting a gimmick. It’s a different way of looking at a price, and on football that’s no bad thing.

Why we’d send a friend to easyBet
The exchange. Behind the Yes/No front door, easyBet runs a proper betting exchange: you can back a team, lay it, trade your position in-play or cash out. easyBet’s own claim is “better odds versus the bookies”, and on an exchange that’s the whole point: you’re betting against other punters, not a trading desk’s margin. Multiples are priced with exchange odds too.
Second, the help desk keeps late hours. Live chat runs Monday to Sunday from 9am to 2am GMT, and if you’d rather talk, the chat team will arrange a phone callback. For anyone watching the NBA at 1am, that’s a desk that’s still awake.
Third, the safety tools go further than the bare minimum. As well as normal deposit limits over 24 hours, seven days or a month, there’s a net deposit limit that counts deposits minus withdrawals over a rolling 30 days. That’s the honest measure of what you’re actually down.

One thing easyBet could do better
The menu. easyBet doesn’t have a sports A–Z, so you can’t open a list and go hunting for a table tennis match at 6am or a minor NHL game. What you get is what’s trending on the homepage: football, tennis, the NFL, snooker, darts, cricket, boxing and golf on the day we looked. That suits the casual punter. For someone like me, who likes the corners, a plain list of every sport and competition on the exchange would make easyBet a lot more useful.

Danny’s tip: spend the £5 Predictions free bets on longer prices. Because the stake isn’t returned, a free bet on a near-certainty barely pays. Here’s a made-up example to show the maths. Say a Premier League side is priced at 40% to win (decimal 2.50). A £5 free bet returns £5 x 2.50 = £12.50, minus the £5 stake that isn’t returned, so £7.50 profit. The same £5 on an 80% shot (1.25) returns £6.25, minus £5, so £1.25. Same free bet, six times the payout.

How does £30 for £20 compare? bet365 also pays £30, as Bet Credits, but asks for only a £10 qualifying bet, and its Promo Code 365GMBLR doesn’t change the amount. VirginBet pays £30 for a £10 bet at 1.5 or bigger, with £20 to use on the sportsbook and £10 on a Bet Builder. easyBet asks for more up front, but it’s the only one of the three that lets you try an exchange with your free bet.

easyBet doesn’t publish a sports A–Z, and its site menu only shows Portfolio, Promotions and Account. So instead of the bookie’s usual list, here’s every sport we could confirm on easyBet’s own pages and app listings, and where we saw it.

That’s fifteen sports, not twenty, and I’d rather tell you that than pad the list.
Football comes first here, as it should. The Predictions questions are the interesting bit: rather than “Bayern to win”, you’re asked whether Kane scores and Bayern hit three, which is a Bet Builder in disguise with one price on it.

easyBet’s own tools: what each one does
- Predictions. Every market is a Yes or No question with a percentage price. You can change your position while a game is live, and the app lets you set your own price and wait for someone to match it.
- easyBet Exchange. Back (bet for), Lay (bet against), Trade (get out at a profit or loss as prices move) and Cash Out.
- Multiples. Accumulators built from exchange prices.
- Bet Builder. Several selections from one game in a single back bet, on the exchange.
What easyBet doesn’t have, and we looked: no Acca Boost, price boosts, Best Odds Guaranteed, Each Way Extra, Request a Bet or early payout. It isn’t a traditional sportsbook, and it doesn’t pretend to be.
Bet Builder on easyBet
The Bet Builder lives on easyBet Exchange. It combines selections from one game (player props, team props, totals, match result, corners, cards) into a single back bet. It covers football, American football, baseball, basketball, cricket, ice hockey, MMA and rugby. You can add from one to twelve selections, and the most you can win is £25,000. One void leg voids the whole bet and your stake comes back. There’s no cash out on Bet Builders, and promotions and bonuses can’t be used on them. No minimum odds or boost is mentioned. For a bet across several games, easyBet points you to the Multiples builder instead.
easyBet in-play, cash out and streaming
In-play is where the Predictions side comes alive: the homepage shows live markets with the score and a Halftime or In Play label, and you can change your position while the game is on. On the exchange you can back, lay, trade or cash out in-play. Cash out isn’t offered on Bet Builders.
Streaming is horse racing only, as far as easyBet’s listings go: UK, Irish, US and South African races inside the exchange app.
Payments and withdrawals
Paying in and out uses the same list: Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Neteller and Skrill, with a £10 minimum each way. For the welcome offer, the first deposit can’t be Skrill, Neteller or Paysafecard, so use a card or a phone wallet.
easyBet runs a strict closed loop: money goes back to where it came from, oldest deposit first, and adding a new withdrawal method means making a small deposit with it first. Bank wire withdrawals are possible to an account in your own name, from £500, once a day, processed within 24 hours on weekdays and arriving in three to five business days; fees may apply. Your account has to be verified before any withdrawal is authorised.

Deposit limits run over 24 hours, seven days or a month; lowering one is immediate, while raising or removing it goes through live chat or safergambling@easybet.net with a 24-hour cooling-off and a reconfirmation. Net deposit limits count deposits minus withdrawals over a rolling 30 days. Self-exclusion starts at six months, has no maximum and can be permanent, and you can’t reopen an account until it ends. Who is easyBet best for?
easyBet is best for football fans who are curious about exchange betting but don’t want a screen full of back and lay columns on day one. The Yes/No questions are a gentle way in, and the £10 Exchange free bet is a free lesson. It’s also a good second account for anyone who likes laying a favourite. If you want a traditional bookie with a long list of sports, boosts and football streams, bet365 is the better pick; if you want a tenner-sized welcome offer, VirginBet asks for half the stake.
